Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza 

Last week I stayed at the hard rock hotel in Ibiza for 5 nights. 

The hotel is only a 5 minute taxi journey form the airport and at check in they provide you with cute purple welcome drinks. These were very refreshing after the late night flight we had just landed on .

The decor of the hotel rooms is super trendy.

Luckily the bell man takes time to show you around your room and explain how the sound system and mood lighting works when he delivers your luggage. 

I stayed in a standard room which was on the 8th floor of the main tower. I would request that you are on a high floor if you are in a standard room as the sea views are amazing. 

After nights out we would come home to our room and sit on the balcony to watch the sun rise in peace and silence. Quietness is a novelty in Ibiza as later in the day you can hear the pumping sounds of Ushuaia main stage next door. 

The quality of the room service food and drinks is excellent. The pizza was one of the best I have ever eaten in my life. The only slight downfall is that it can take a while to arrive. But once armed with this information we knew to order things with plenty of time to spare so it wasn’t an issue. 

Around by the pool there are lots of sun loungers and as a party of 6 we never found it a problem to find 6 sun loungers together. There is a policy of 1 beach towel per guest and you have to give in a towel card in order to retrieve your towel each day. It is an unusual sure my that I haven’t experienced anywhere before but I suspect this prevents bed saving and non-guests from using the pool facilities. 

At the beach club we ate lunch 2 days in a row. The service can be a little hit and miss here but once the food arrived it was excellent quality. We complained about the service on one occasion where some orders had been messed up and the manager could not to enough to please us. It was a perfect way to deal with any complaint. 

On the final day I visited the Rock Spa for some much needed relaxation time after the previous day’s of partying. My massage was very good and the quiet pool area and relaxation rooms were a welcome oasis in the centre of a busy hotel. 

Overall the beach was beautiful, the staff were very helpful, rooms were nicely decorated and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Ibiza in the near future.
