I travelled from London to Singapore alone.
I was fortunate to have a friend who had temporarily relocated to Singapore for work at the time and I was able to stay in her apartment for most of my time there.
However she was expected to work long hours so I spent 80% of my time exploring the city by myself. Throughout my ten days there I don’t recall one mThe oment where I felt uncomfortable or unsafe in anyway.
I would highly recommend this destination as a place to travel alone. I used the Metro system, got taxis, wandered the streets of China town and little India, and explored areas further afield like the Chinese gardens and the zoo. There were so many things to do and the local people are very friendly and happy to tell you about their city. I didn’t feel lonely at all and I was quite sad to be leaving after my stay here.
